Families interested in acquiring a burial concession will find an attractive variety of plots to suit their personal needs. Plots that accommodate two or more places for standard-size caskets are available for lease on a 99-year renewable basis. These concessions can be reserved under a prearrangement contract.
Concessions are available in a variety of locations: roadside, under trees or high on the mountain. The graves are tended in the spring and summer by the same team of expert gardeners who maintain the cemetery landscape and lawns.
A monument commemorating the deceased and their family provides a precious sense of continuity over time. We offer an attractive selection of granite monuments available for engraving and tasteful ornamentation. For more information, please visit our “Monuments and Engraving” section under Commemorative Items.
Final interment without viewing
Families preferring not to hold a viewing may take advantage of our transport service to take the deceased directly from the place of death to the cemetery. This service is available for any type of burial.

Cremation was authorized by the Vatican in 1967 and has been conducted at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery since 1976. The practice means different things to different people: it may be a religious observance, an act of consecration or a statement of environmental awareness. The ashes are collected in a funerary urn, which is then interred in a burial plot or niche. We offer a large selection of decorative funerary urns in bronze, marble, wood, glass and other materials. For more information, please visit our "Urns and Reliquaries" section under Commemorative Items.
